Our son married the love of his life at Troyer’s Prairie Gold on 11-Sep-21. This is an exceptional wedding venue!

My husband and I hosted our wedding here this past weekend (11/07/2020) and everything was perfect! We held our ceremony outside with the reception inside. The bridal suite and groom room is large enough for all to hang out comfortably while getting ready. The venue is beautiful and offers so many spots to get the perfect pictures. A major plus with this venue is that’s it’s so beautiful on its own, you hardly have to decorate at all. Jody is so easy to work with and is willing to help anyway she can. Thanks Jody and Scott for all your hard work! Our wedding was truly more wonderful than I ever imagined

I was fortunate enough to watch Scott and Jody build their dream from the ground up. Blood, sweat, tears and a whole lot of love went into every detail. This barn is simply amazing with beautiful views, wild flowers and sunsets. This couple has hearts of gold and were gracious enough to let me and my family use it for a special event. They go that extra mile to make sure your needs are met and that your day becomes everything that you had hoped and dreamed of. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven and you won't meet a nicer couple to work with!

Troyers prarie gold exceeded my expectations on my wedding day. They took in all of my recommendations and created my dream wedding. YOU GUYS. I can not recommend troyers prairie gold enough. It’s BEAUTIFUL, like breathtaking. It was a fairytale dream come true from the moment we found the venue online. Then we toured it and it was over with. There was no other venue that could ever top troyers for us. We traveled over a hour and a half to have our wedding here as did all of our guests and it was worth every bit of it. Not only is the barn absolutely beautiful. The porch is perfect. The bridal suite is amazing with the lighted mirrors and room. The grooms suite was also amazing with plenty of room. The kitchen was perfect for our caterer. The ice machine really helps a ton! And The bar is fabulous. She has so many options of things you can use that really make things so much easier and you’d never think of. There’s a room full of decor you can look at and use for your day. There’s also more than a few options as to where you can have your ceremony which is SO nice. On our wedding day we were chancing rain. And I never once had to worry because if rain had happened We could have so easily set up the ceremony inside the barn and it would have been just as gorgeous!

Now that I’m done day dreaming of the barn let’s talk about the owner. She is wonderful! Down to earth. The day we toured the barn I told Jody that not only did I love love love her barn, but I like loved her too! You can tell that she loves what she does, she loves making your day perfect! Wait till she tells you the story of what went into building the barn 😉 I made sure to share that story with all of our guests and photographers even😅 Jody just made me feel comfortable about the whole thing when other venues made it overwhelming. She keeps it as simple as she can, she is helpful and will recommend trusted vendors in the area. She allows time in the barn to plan. She just made everything even that much better.

Seriously if your looking for a rustic feel but still elegant and beautiful, this is it! It’s absolutely stunning.
